Youth Ottawa Bands at RBC Bluesfest

New at the festival for 2016 was a partnership with local organization Youth Ottawa. The group offered an audition based video submission process with partnering schools to try out for a select number of performance slots available at the 2016 RBC Bluesfest. 24 high quality submissions were received and 12 acts made their festival debut. In addition to a slot at the festival, the bands were offered a performance coaching session at the Bluesfest School of Music and Art with Natalie Fraser, our resident vocal and stage presence coach.
