‘What’s in the Song’ performance in Glebe a memorable evening

CityFolk’s newest initiative ‘What’s in the Song’ recently held a memorable evening of works from students aged 11-17 in the Glebe. 14 students enrolled in the program and many of them performed their own and each other’s work on the final night. The Glebe Neighbourhood Activities Group set up their cafe beautifully in the old coffee house style that created an amazing mood for the event. What struck us all was the depth of the writing and camaraderie between the students. These young folks are writers and their passion was evident!

The program was facilitated by Juno award winner and local jazz sensation Kellylee Evans. Congratulations to all!
